The AFP format is part of IBM's document imaging system. It is a raster format, created to add enhanced formatting and indexing capabilities to documents for print applications in finance, retail, insurance, and other industries. Blaze ImgConvert provides support for MODCA/PTOCA or AFP/PTOCA documents as input files.
 
The default extension used by this format is: AFP.
This format is used by the IBM plug in.
This file format supports multi-page files.

Currently, Blaze ImgConvert does not write AFP files, but files can be converted to IOCA.
